Got some horrible news yesterday. My dog’s cancer has metastasized. Doc said nothing we can do. She is my friend and companion and I’m absolutely gutted! I thought the surgery got it but it had already spread. The best dog ever! I’m heartbroken! Please pray for us.

Several months ago…I started noticing so many asking for prayers…so many health issues for themselves or their family and friends. Maybe my algorithm is off. 🤷‍♀️ Then 2.5 weeks ago….it was my turn. As I was heading off for a vacation…I knew something was wrong. We cancelled trip and that night…I visited two hospitals. BP (we think) caused a blood clot to hit my brain causing a stroke. I’m actually recovering great from the numbness on my left side…but I can’t stop my brain from thinking…which I know is not helping my stress…therefore my BP and upset stomach. Yesterday I made it outside to sit in the sun and put my bare feet on the ground. Plan to do the same today. I am also limiting my social media time…the online battle will continue without me for awhile. Trying to Live in the Moment. I’m not great at asking for help of any kind…but would appreciate if you read this…just send a prayer or some light for CALMNESS my way. And less guilt for having to go the pharmaceutical route after years of getting healthy “ the right way”. I’ve made it this far in this battle…I intend to make it to the end…but some peace would be nice to make it through the victory. How can I help others if I’m incapacitated? Ring those Healing bells….send out the Healing frequencies…Heal everyone. 💫💖✨ God bless us all. 🙏

Forgiveness is a critical element of the healing journey but so is the element of justice. I am really trying to allow God to help me to become whole again because that is part of the journey of justice. I am noticing that if I resist this then bitterness and anger rises to the surface. And I don’t wish to cultivate such energy. The resistance comes about when I don’t wish to acknowledge how much something hurt me and how certain wounds need the help of others. So my goal is not resist the help and support that the Lord desires to bring into my life to help me make whole again. To simply receive. I would appreciate prayers for this chapter in my journey ❤️

Please pray for the family of my former co-worker, Deep. They are going through so much. His father passed away. He was 73. He had spine surgery on August 13 and was recovering when he suddenly went into cardiac arrest on August 24. There were severe anoxic brain injuries. They were able to extubate and he was breathing on his own. But he was unable to recognize anyone. Then he suddenly passed away. In the middle of all of this, his mother had emergency spinal surgery on September 11. She is 75 and was recovering well, but is now very depressed over losing her husband. She has a 24/7 caregiver but our prayers are needed to hold her up. Deep had just gone back to work in DC as his family leave ran out. He had been in NY with his family, closing out his father’s accounting business since August. Before all this started, Deep’s 9 year old niece (his brother’s daughter) has been recovering from surgery for a cancerous tumour early this year. She is doing well. His mother and brother are pediatricians who were in practice together and his brother is now taking over the practice as it’s unlikely his mother will be able to work again. Deep is an accountant, as was his father, and works in the nonprofit sector where I knew him. This is the busiest time of year. He seems numb and in terrible shock. I stayed on the phone with him for his drive back to NY tonight so he could just talk about it all. Like me, he often has delayed reactions. He has reached his family home now. Please hold him in your prayers. The next few days will be very difficult. This family has been through so much in such a short period of time. Thank you for your prayers 🙏

I need prayers for my daughter. She's a teenager. She doesn't feel hopeful about her future. She's tired of waiting. Tired of waiting for mom to find a good job. Tired of waiting on something to shift for the better in the world so make things more doable for me (mom). I'm scared, ok? I am scared for her. I’m asking for prayers for my daughter in laws mother. She is currently in ICU on the ventilator. She isn’t doing good at all. She lost her daddy last year and she is terrified of losing her mommy. Pray they find out what is causing all these issues.

Lord, please be with Kat and her dad as they go to the hospital. Give the doctors wisdom, help them understand what’s going on, and guide them toward the right care.
